Hello from Japan

I got the answer of the question I've written the other day.

What I though "mortable" was actually " multiple " !
I've listened again and again, but I never cought like that.
I need to make more effort

It is Tuesday night, 11:00 p.m.
I was watching American TV drama " Sex And The City " .
I like watching Foreign drama and movies , for fun and for studying English.
I don't have a chance to speak and listen to English now,
It is important to me to watch.
Of course I enjoy the story

I am Japanese and have been studying English by listening to the radio.
I cought one word that I don't understand, and I looked up the dictionary.
But I couldn't find the word , mortable, or something like that.

Can anybody teach me what it mean ?
