SKIPPING is THAT skipping with the rope ?
I haven't done it since I was a child.
Wondering if I still can do ![]()
yes done with a rope....
I tried the other day....if anyone saw me they would be rolling about ![]()
My best effort so far is 22 before getting the rope between my feet.
Kids here can do sumersaults and all sorts whilst skipping and even have like two ropes and they on a third.
My niese has a rope , so I will ask her lending .
Sumersaults ! Two ropes !
How can they cope ??
I saw this group of school kids on TV the other weeks and it facinating to watch...
Oooooh.....I managed 43 last night (and ran out of puff
)
Your skipping has improved ![]()
Do you do everyday ?
I am trying to do so ![]()
What did you do instead? ![]()
Oh that's the point ![]()
I got exercise instead, walking.
do you say "walking" in English when you walk for the exercise?
That's right." I get exercise by walking" or "I am going out walking" or "I am going for a walk" are in the present tense and "I went walking" or "I walked" or "I went for a walk" are in the past tense. There are variations like "I walk to work" or "I get to work by walking", but that's the English language, full of variants. I hope this was useful. ![]()
Thank you , tin-man ![]()
